Vacation and Tourism department for Santa Clara, California.
Discover Santa Clara’s Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) Website was designed to showcase the city’s unique blend of culture, attractions, and hospitality while serving as a key tool for driving tourism. The build focused on an intuitive user experience, streamlined navigation, and a modern visual style that reflects Santa Clara’s vibrant identity. By blending engaging visuals with strategic content placement, the site invites visitors to explore, plan, and connect with the destination, ultimately supporting the region’s tourism growth and community engagement.
The key metrics provide a clear snapshot of performance, offering a quick view of the most important data points that define project progress and impact. They highlight core measurements and outcomes, helping to track effectiveness, identify trends, and demonstrate results at a glance. These indicators ensure that success can be evaluated consistently while allowing room for the unique goals of each project.
I designed the Discover Santa Clara visitor guide alongside the destination’s website to create a seamless brand experience across print and digital. The guide builds on the site’s visual identity, blending vibrant photography, clean layouts, and engaging copy to showcase the city’s charm. Throughout, design details like the titled bar and hand-drawn accents connect the brand to the urban, fast-paced energy of the destination.
As part of the branding project, I used the Discover Santa Clara brand elements to design a custom destination map that complements the overall visual identity. The map balances clarity and style, blending functional navigation with vibrant, on-brand colors and typography. Key attractions, districts, and landmarks are highlighted to help visitors easily orient themselves and explore the city with confidence. Designed to pair seamlessly with both the visitor guide and website, the map serves as a practical tool and a visually engaging piece that reinforces the destination’s brand story.
This campaign centered around the two upcoming major events taking place in Santa Clara, Fifa 2026 and the Superbowl LIX. I aimed to take the original branding and level it up in a way that ties in how the games will be leveling up the Santa Clara Experience. Paired with this is an activation ideation for a Hall of Fame. This idea came from the Levi’s Stadium 49ers Hall of Fame Museum, which is a fan favorite. I channeled that same energy with interactive photography pop-ups that put fans in the spotlight and into Santa Clara’s Fan Hall of Fame, all while generating sports-themed UGC and growing your visitor database
