Explore Siouxland is one of my clients, located in Nebraska. The website was designed and articulated from scratch by myself under the supervision of my design director. This was one of my first websites where the SEO, site structure, and overall design was done directly from scratch. I was apart of the discovery and research, project planning, and leading the wireframming and layout design. The website itself had more site sessions and saw an increase in engagemnet. Overall, this was a success in creating more opportunities for the destination.
The Explore Siouxland website was reimagined to infuse a sense of playfulness and approachability into the brand. We introduced a refreshed visual identity, complete with a vibrant color palette, dynamic typography, and a cohesive icon system, to reflect the region’s energetic and welcoming personality. A new content hierarchy and intuitive navigation structure were developed to make it easier for users to discover activities, events, and local businesses. Thoughtful use of imagery, interactive elements, and whitespace keeps the design visually engaging while guiding visitors through a seamless user journey—capturing the lively spirit and excitement Siouxland has to offer.
The key metrics provide a clear snapshot of performance, offering a quick view of the most important data points that define project progress and impact. They highlight core measurements and outcomes, helping to track effectiveness, identify trends, and demonstrate results at a glance. These indicators ensure that success can be evaluated consistently while allowing room for the unique goals of each project.
