This app was designed to help users navigate Grand Canyon West. As a companion tool, it not only provides essential information, such as locations and amenities, but also offers a rich learning experience. Because the destination is owned by the Hualapai Tribe, each attraction card includes historical context, allowing visitors to learn about both the sites themselves and their cultural significance.
The key metrics provide a clear snapshot of performance, offering a quick view of the most important data points that define project progress and impact. They highlight core measurements and outcomes, helping to track effectiveness, identify trends, and demonstrate results at a glance. These indicators ensure that success can be evaluated consistently while allowing room for the unique goals of each project.
The “Ignite the Spirit” campaign was launched to re-engage post-pandemic travelers, expanding targeting to fly markets and inspiring visitation to Grand Canyon West. Designed to highlight the Hualapai Tribe’s culture, traditions, and connection to the Grand Canyon and Colorado River, the creative balanced adrenaline-pumping experiences—like the Skywalk, river rafting, and zipline—with storytelling that honored the Indigenous peoples who have lived along the river since time immemorial. As part of the campaign, the Grand Canyon West website was evolved to better present packages, pricing, and lodging options, while marketing efforts expanded into Connected TV, Linear TV, and Buzzfeed to reach younger audiences with impactful reach.
This map was designed with fluidity in mind, incorporating watercolor textures to reflect both the ethereal and earthly qualities of the native tribe. The design not only connects to the brand’s visual identity but also symbolizes the waterways that hold deep cultural and spiritual significance for the community.
Worked in tandem with a cross-functional team to execute complex design systems and seamlessly integrate Grand Canyon West branding across web, print, and advertising assets. Contributed to creative direction, ensured brand consistency, and adapted designs for multiple platforms to support both marketing goals and audience engagement.
